IP CCTV installation

We currently use the Hik-vision brand of IP CCTV equipment; various camera brands will also work with Hik-vision NVR equipment.

We can supply and install a system for up to 32 cameras with up to 16 powered direct by the NVR which we fit with the ultra-reliable WD Purple surveillance hard drives, with the other 16 cameras powered from the network, via POE switches or injectors depending on the customers network.

These systems are suitable for a small commercial office just to cover the entrance door or car park, industrial units, to larger sites for example a garden centre that’s spread over a few acres with many buildings to cover.

We always recommend a HD monitor close to the NVR just to give a general overview of what’s going on with the cameras, these systems can also be viewed on a PC on the same local network or via apps on mobile phones and tablets remotely away from site.

There is a large range of HD cameras available in both 2.8 & 4mm fixed focal lens, the 4mm gives a wider viewing angle, available for both indoor and outdoor cameras including Dome, Bullet and PTZ (Pan, Tilt and zoom). All our supplied outdoor cameras are weather proof to IP67 specification, all available with infer-red LED for night vision, range from 30mtrs to about 50mtrs, various camera mounting brackets are available for all our camera types to hide the connections for security.

For a discreet look we recommend the Dome Cameras or use the outdoor Bullet Cameras for the typical deterrent look.
